    Good for today, but not for tomorrow.

    Of all the 3070 ti versions, the Asus ROG Strix is the best. It has an awesome cooling solution that helps handle most applications with ease. However, its 8GB of GDDR6X memory is a limiting factor moving forward. This is particularly true if you intend to use this card for gaming purposes. Even today, in some games, the 8GB's is not enough for a smooth gaming experience. The more time passes, the more obvious this limitation will become as more games demanding higher memory counts are released. If you have money to burn, then you can replace this card with another card having more memory, whenever this becomes a serious problem. But if you're on a budget, this may not be the card for you, especially if you plan to keep it for some time.

    Best bang for the buck

    The 3070 Ti gives you great performance without breaking the bank. Sure, the 80 and 90 series will outperform it, but the gains aren't worth the drastic increase in price, in my opinion. I cannot attest to it's performance with 4k gaming but, in my 2k set up, I'm getting consistent framerates of 120+FPS across most games with max settings.
